Fatboy Slim Vs Hervé - Machines Can Do The Work - OUT NOW...
Through the dry ice, strobes and smiling faces this is late ‘80’s dance music stripped backed and revised; mixing modern dance music methodology whilst giving a nod to the sounds of Shoom; the late 80’s rave culture and the White Isle party vibe. Cutting edge, retro at is most exploratory.
Released in two parts and across the World Cup months of June and July; the first features both the original version and exclusive remix by Hervé under his Action Man guise. Just as tough; just as fantastic.
The follow up single, promoing soon, is one seriously heavyweight remix package featuring mixes by Joris Voorn, Modeselektor, Reset and Ado. Festival, carnival, front room, backroom “Machines Can Do The Work” has it covered.
This is out now on Beatport with the full release coming 14/06/2010.
