Double 99's 'Rip Groove' anthem blazed a trail for the early UK speed garage movement, a collaboration between Tim Deluxe and graphic designer Omar Amidora it was first released on their label Ice Cream Records in 1997 before being signed to Satellite Records and reaching number 14 in the UK national singles chart, spending 6 weeks in the top 40.

A record that always defied trends and genres in clubland it continues to receive plays at clubs and festivals to this day.

In 2006 'Rip Groove' was remixed by Cirez D (aka Eric Prydz) and released on Skint Records, home to Tim Deluxe as a solo artist.
